The audio isn't the greatest (I apologize), but the teaching is. Anthony tackles another three verses from the third chapter in 1st John. This was recorded at Caldwell Banker building.

The Resurrection Christ Jesus is a fact of history. But more than a date on a calendar, the rising of our Lord from the dead means the world to humanity. Christians celebrate the resurrection every week when the gather on Sundays across the globe. Brent took Easter Sunday to preach from a letter Paul wrote to the Corinthian church. This was recorded at the Caldwell Banker building.

"...that which is known about God is evident within them [men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (v18)]; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures." Romans 1:19-23
This sermon was recorded at the Caldwell Banker building in Desoto, Texas.

"Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. Non one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him."
Sin is incompatible with the law of God, and sin is incompatible with the work of Christ. A church that does not preach on sin, doesn't preach the gospel.

"For in it [God's Gospel] the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'but the righteous man shall live by faith.' For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness..."
God's wrath has a place in His gospel. In fact the gospel cannot be understood without examining the wrath of God. This sermon marks the beginning of a new section in Paul's letter to the Romans. Romans 1:18-3:20 is Paul arguing for the total sinfulness and depravity of the entire human race. "There is none righteous. Not even one."
